Weedo 710 TUG is a purpose-built small tug that can be combined as a rescue and workboat. The craft has been developed specifically for the offshore industry but can be used for other purposes as well.

The craft is designed and tested for towing offshore oil booms, and it is built in accordance with SOLAS 83 international rules. It is built to give maximum safety and comfort for the crew and is fitted with two steering positions: one in the wheelhouse and one at the deck aft.
The craft is fitted with one inboard diesel engine and a variable or controllable pitch propeller, and the towing point is well ahead of the propeller. The craft has a bollard pull of 2,000 kg.
The Weedo 710 TUG can be fitted with an explosion-proof starter and an electric system for operation in hazardous areas.
The craft is type-approved with a CE certificate acc. to Solas 83, nominated body: DNV; in addition, it has a type approval from NMD.
