The Alusafe 700/770 (Twin) Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) versions has proven its efficiency when it matters most. Designed to operate in demanding conditions, these vessels maintain outstanding performance in almost all weather conditions.
The FRC is available in several configurations: the Alusafe 700, the extended Alusafe 770, and the Alusafe 770 Twin, which is equipped with twin engines for increased redundancy and performance.
All models feature a fully planing hull with a deep V-bottom design, optimized for high-speed operation ahead while offering excellent manoeuvrability when going astern. The V-bottom also ensures smooth and stable motion when stationary, which is critical during rescue and recovery operations.
The Alusafe FRCs are designed and built to meet the strictest regulatory requirements and are certified as Fast Rescue Craft. Depending on configuration, the boats can be delivered with single or twin engine installations. Twin installations may include inboard engines with waterjet or duo-prop propulsion, while twin outboard engines are also available as an option.
The hull is fully welded and constructed from marine-grade aluminium, using extruded profiles and plates. For maximum safety, the hull is divided into five separate watertight compartments.
The MK II models feature a newly designed GRP cockpit with side-by-side seating for a crew of two. This layout provides excellent protection, improved ergonomics, and clear visibility, as well as easy access to instruments and onboard equipment.
The craft is type-approved and CE certified in accordance with SOLAS 83, with DNV as the notified body. In addition, it holds type approval from the Norwegian Maritime Directorate (NMD).
