SEABEAR 20
The Seabear 20 FRB is a rigid rescue boat which is designed, built and equipped to comply with the requirements for strength and safety at Seas, SOLAS 74 with amendments, Chapter III Reg. 47, IMO Res. 81 (70) and IMO MSC/Circ. 809, FAST RESCUE BOAT. Seabear 20 FRB have an outboard petrol engine and a hull in welded aluminium marine alloy. The hull is filled with expanded foam and is thus unsinkable. The craft is selfbailing through transom stern. The strenght of hull and superstructure is sufficent to withstand all normal forces encountered under normal use at sea, at maximum boat speed. The hull is of a fully plaining type with a deep V-bottom construction, suitable for high speeds in adverse conditions. The cockpit has seating for two crew and all controls for engine and other equipment, and provide shelter for the crew. The craft is is type approved with a CE certificate acc. to Solas 83, nominated body: DNV, in addition it has a type approval from NMD and Transport Canada (CCG).
